Weak prediction. All you have to so is do the math on the announced bundles prices plus the reported cost of the stand alone consoles. It's clear Kinect will be much cheaper than the place holder $150 based on Microsoft's boasting about the real price and the competition's upcoming problems.
Disc scratch was caused by the dude hitting and rocking the 360 in a test. It's like throwing a 360 in a oven and saying: *SEE RROD!!!!!!*
The Red dot thing was fake and so is this video. They need to provide evidence through problem solving with steps.
This lunatic desperation is even embarrassing other PS3 fans.
I think most media and plenty of gamers see it the way you're seeing it.
This was my opinion from the start. Get Kinect out there so the casuals can see it in a casual way that will appeal to casuals. Microsoft took a hit at E3 trying to get people interested in the 360 and will follow up with what the core base wants to see.
Trying to win over some of the Wii casual base was the goal and trying to please the core fanbase(hardcore) would be a poor way of ...
The solid gameplay has me sold too. The immersion from the enemy AI and the animations offer an unmatched experience looking at the gameplay vid. My fav game of E3. Adam Sessler was blown aways by the game's technical achievement.
"So a new coat of paint = game over for Sony?"
Game over for Sony = clearing stock by selling 360's for $150 and $250 and new hardware called the Xbox 360S and Kinect.
"new coat of paint" did Sony just fine when they downgraded the PS3 to make way for PS3 Slim.
The difference is the PS3 Slim was downgraded and had a price drop but the 360S didn't drop in price but had value added to it plus it shares the spotlight...
Anybody find a point to this video?
And here we go.
*waits for 1000 fud articles based on 360S/360 arcade demand damage control*
Make a story over the 360 warning the owner that it's too hot? LOL
Be careful there will be people trying to trigger the warnings or making the hardware fail on purpose.
Looks like PS3 fanboys are getting upset. One moron says because they gave them away at E3 and the other moron responds saying it's new hardware. They're all over the place on this one, so frustrated they can't even think straight.
Must be lower than $150 if he's boasting about it.
"pretty much sums up its offerings"
So says one of the most hardened PS3 fanboys on N4G. Lets wait shall we.
Looks like people didn't expect they needed to write damage control articles or memorize damage control talking points after E3 but it looks like after seeing the majpr impact of Microsoft's offerings on actual consumers in the real world, they're starting to...
If you say so. The consumers seem to disagree. This "ME TOO" stance is getting old with Sony and fanboys trying to ride Kinect's popularity. The media trying to get hits by matching them up is getting out of hand too. Wii HD will not be seen as a direct alternative to Kinect by consumers hence the silly comparisons and sky rocketing sales of Kinect. Kinect will have the same WoW/hotness/futuristic factor that Wii had and the Move will be seen as a attempt to copy Wii.
...
Well plenty of people disagree plus you're a known PS3 fanboy so no surprise there. I don't think there is a console motion war between Microsoft and Sony I just think PS3 fanboys and Sony plus some media are trying to ride Kinect's mass appeal.
The VS match is based from a "ME TOO" stance when it comes to the popularity of Kinect.
Please do not cry in the report section/box. Your personal opinion based from PS3 fanboyism is not justification to report stories. 3DS is very exciting hardware but for most core gamers and media it hardly competes with new hardware that was long overdue for one of the most popular consoles on the market and a revolutionary motion camera.
LOL at your misguided excuse. This is almost as bad as posting a link to Amazon in the UK like another PS3 fanboy in another article trying to prove low demand when only GAME in the UK is/was doing Kinect pre-orders(at the time)
I bet you have a PS3 Slim and had a PS3 fat.
Microsoft has better strategy. Adding features to new consoles for less versus Sony selling stripped down versions of the PS3s for less. Microsoft pushing the edge with Hardware fused with software while Sony sort of sits back copying what works this generation. People are buying up Kinect like hot cakes because it's new exciting hardware never seen before and for good reason. The masses already have Move on the Wii and all they need are Kinect, Wii games and the 3DS.
So...
That is got to be the stupidest logic I've seen on N4G. You take the current hotttest slots/games on n4g and use that as proof the site is not overran by PS3 fanboys. You do realize most of the things with a lot of heat are heated up because the game is either being use to pump up PS3 with pro Sony fud or anti 360 related articles. It doesn't matter if 360 things are heated up all it means is PS3 fanboys are tracking/trolling 360 news and posting bash fest articles related to that ga...
Because Move has been out for years on Nintendo's console. I wouldn't go by the poison from the web. The only way I know how people feel in the real world is based on demand. http://www.amazon.com/gp/be...
I think Microsoft took a hit at E3 because they're going to push hard during the holiday season and before it, at other gaming events. All Microsoft needed to do is garner atten...
Looks like some media and fanboys can't stand the fact Kinect is selling like hot cakes and appeals to more consumers. http://www.amazon.com/gp/be... only outpaced by the consumers buying XBL gold cards with their new 360's lol.
Never heard of this site who are they? must be the reason he ignored the major lag and tracking errors we seen at Sony's press con.
They sure are. The media and PS3 fanboys are not even focused on anything else. Didn't we just get through with E3? Everybody is already in damage control mode as if this were the holidays already.
The ignorance in this article yet creating these fictional reasons for their flame topics forced questions is pathetic. I'm not sure if that site has an agenda or just tries to get hits. They are truly messing up game journalism.
